About

Katy Simpson is a qualified, experienced women’s health Personal Trainer with a passion for women’s fitness and well-being. With a distinct focus on bespoke, individually tailored training. She lives and works in Kingston Upon Thames with her husband and two beautiful sons.

Katy got into exercise in a huge way after the birth of her eldest son. After a long (96 hours!!) and traumatic birth she was left depressed and vulnerable and found that going to the gym and reclaiming her pre-pregnancy body, was a massive part of her recovery both physically and mentally. Having shown very little interest in exercise previously and never having been particularly “sporty”, she became a complete convert and now works with women to show how integral having a healthy body is to having a healthy mind and positive outlook on life.

Since having the children, Katy has become a keen runner and has competed in many 10k’s and has run the Great North Run (a half marathon). She qualified as a gym instructor in 2010 and still hungry for more, qualified as a personal trainer in 2013. Since then she has done a specialist qualifications in pre/postnatal exercise, abdominal separation, exercise for the management of perimenopause and finally perimenopause nutrition.

With two boisterous boys at home, Katy knows first-hand the challenges of balancing work and family commitments with squeezing in exercise and ‘me’ time. Together with you, she will schedule an exercise program to suit you and which works around your family, lifestyle and work commitments.
